Cranberry Salad

| 1/2 cup sugar 1 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained 1 cup cranberry sauce w/whole cranberries 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 small carton whipping cream, whipped |
| Cream sugar and cream cheese. Add pineapple, cranberry sauce and pecans. Fold mixture into whipped cream. Freeze until set. Let set at room temperature 5 - 10 minutes before cutting into squares for serving. |

| 2 cups sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 quart (4 cups) buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla 20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained 17 ounces fruit cocktail, drained |
| Combine first four ingredients until well blended. Gently stir in drained fruit. Pour into 9" square dish and freeze. Remove from freezer 10 - 15 minutes before cutting sections to serve. |
