The Class of 1959 was the first class to graduate from the new modern high school. They had spent three years at the old red brick building 'in town', so they certainly missed being able to walk across the street to the Dairy Queen for lunch (burger and fries total: 45 cents) or an after-school treat. Look closely - there's nothing on the menu that's more than 35 cents! Those were the days ..... (Sara Turner Miller, Class of '60, says the student at the order window is Jimmie Ann Smith - thanks, Sara!) |
| We have 1958 - 1961 on CD.
The CD includes every page of these annuals -- even the merchant advertisements. If you are a grad of '58, '59, '60 or '61 and would like to have a CD, let us know and we'll send you one. |
